This isn't part of the seed tree cut area, but is adjacent to it.  This hemlock stand was cut lightly to preserve its value as a winter deer yard.  The job was done by Koehler & Sobasko Logging of Hadley.  The almost complete absence of slash is due to their excellent utilization of hardwood for fuelwood.
